I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream...Fest!
The whole family will enjoy this kid-friendly festival designed to spark the imagination, delight the senses and awaken the scientist in all of us. And of course, enjoy delicious, locally made ice cream!
The Downtown State College Rotary Club is holding their annual Ice Cream Fest the same day as Happy Valley Music Fest on Saturday, June 3rd in Downtown State College.
You can purchase 5 samples for $5 or 25 samples for $20. Credit Cards will be accepted.
Participating vendors this year are Galliker's Dairy, Yuengling Ice Cream, Trader Joe's, Cold Stone Creamery, Vale Wood Farms, Ritchey's Dairy, Turkey Hill and Meyer Dairy.
Special Activities will include:
* Youth Service Bureau - games
* Discovery Space - Liquid Nitrogen Brownies
* PSECU sponsoring Nittany Balloons
* Stacy Glen Tibbetts performing children's songs
* Radio station B94.5 broadcasting live from the event.
"The Ice cream festival is a really fun summer event for the whole family. There are many different children’s activities that are going on along with the chance to taste a ton of different ice cream flavors," said Brodie Dalton, State College/Downtown Rotary Club Fundraising Committee Chair.
The event will take place on Allen Street between College Avenue and Beaver Avenue.
The proceeds for this event benefit many local non-profit organizations such as the State College Food Bank, Centre County YMCA, and other various Rotary projects.
