A Message from the Club President...

Providing clean water sources for remote villages.  Supplying
schools for basic education. Delivering healthcare to the suffering.
Building bridges to connect communities. Sponsoring study
exchange programs around the world. Rotary International has
spent over $3,000,000,000.00 in humanitarian efforts such as
eradicating polio, promoting peace, and battling poverty,
illiteracy, and malnutrition, in a sustainable fashion.

This year the Rotary Club of State College / Downtown joins
Rotarians around the world  celebrating the 100th Anniversary
of the Rotary Foundation.  The Rotary Foundation was established
in Cleveland in 1917 by then Rotary International President Arch
Klumph to "do good in the world."  Our club continues this call of
doing good in the world, both in our State College community as
well as worldwide. Please explore our website and support our
service and fundraising efforts to help various local nonprofits
care for community concerns, as well as provide infrastructure
to an underprivileged community in Bolivia.

If you are a visiting Rotarian,  interested in joining becoming a
Rotarian, or just want to learn more,  please join us at one of our
Thursday noon lunch meetings at the Ramada in State College.

Rotary provides the opportunity for fellowship,  to learn more about your community and world, and  to make the world a better place
"One Profits Most Who Serves Best."
